Next week the Chums vs the Sharks and the Bulls vs the Gnomes will be the big ones. All teams will want the win. Chums partially for pride but the rest would see big blows to their title challenges with a loss given each is at least a game behind already.

Agree... Being two games behind would be tough, since Bulls have lost to Nantes and I have lost to Pro's... therefore, the looser of Bulls vs. Gnomes will need help if they are to close the two game gap they have.

I am looking forward to a great game... and hopefully some surprise losses to the two undefeated teams...

I need a miracle to defeat Gnomes. Gnomes roster is better than mine.

Miracle delivered... *SIGH*.

Decision time... should I sell and regroup or trust that I can compete?

Haven't had a chance to do the stats yet but while competing from two games down is tough it is definitely not impossible. The last time anyone won this division with less than 3 losses was season 15. The are a range of exams here that can all beat each other. Certainly I can't see either myself or Nantes winning all our games against the other sides. Bulls, yourself and Sharks are all at our level, I wouldn't count out the Crowns or Chums getting an upset win or two either. This season we got a nice start. I would point out that you have had two big games this season and you have thrown 2 into in each which is just bad luck.

The difficult bit being 2 games behind is taking advantage when we do slip up when you have tough games most weeks. Added to all this your is not that old. I don't know the details of your team or finances so can't say for sure but even if this season goes badly you have several more seasons with your top players.

Not that I have an ulterior motive in ensuring you keep your top players for another week...

I can't believe I have won
I think that you should wait a couple of weeks before you start selling players, the season is still opened.

I will continue fighting since I have spent too much time and effort into having this group of players...

I think some tweaking and performance review is mandated from the upper management...

Latest stats. If you look at the individual matches Dreier (me) and Cesar (Bulls) wrecked havok against the Gnomes in our respective matches. Cesar only had 8 targets but managed 7 catches and 3 TDs (though 2 were relatively short range). Having said that without the 2 interceptions you beat the Bulls (probably not me but Dreier received a lot more targets during his purple patch). You can take a look yourself to see where you are lacking or feel you are though. The overall is a good place to start. If you need more info about anything just ask but you can easily compare yourself to others in the division.

Aleman for Olivos has the record of 1 target, 1 catch, 1 yard and 1 TD so far which I find amusing. He also had to break two tackles so must have caught that pass well behind the line of scrimmage.

In the Chums vs Anarchy there were 4 interceptions in total, 3 from the Chums killing their offense which had been impressive in other matches.

I was amused to see that the figures this year match previous years pretty well but some exceptions which shows that the game is predictable in large numbers (your next final on the other hand...)

Gladiators also got their first TD of the season in a competitive match (against me).

I have the stats done but a lack of WiFi has stopped me uploading them. Hopefully tomorrow.

A few quick notes. Statistically the game between the Gnomes and Nantes went as expected. Gnomes are still struggling to break tackles while Nantes can make them like no one's business. Rasmussen then had to walk up for each td but he kept his high completion rate going which kept drives going for long enough to get a few scores. Dowden has never been the top qb in the league and the Gnomes defense showed that with the Nantes entirely reliant on their receivers breaking tackles for their scores. Both sides have disadvantages and advantages that showed but the Gnomes good points edged it in the end.

In the Bulls vs Crowns match the weak Crowns defense was no surprise and the Bulls took full advantage. I was surprised that their powerful DEs didn't add to their already exceptional season but they gave Porta no room even if the Crowns new qb had a higher than expected completion rate.

Great analysis!

Rasmussen & Hoffmann made the three missed tackles that lead to Vikings 3 TD's. Funny that guys with 19 and 17 tackling can miss them, but the engine is like that. Maybe the fact that I am doubling Rasmussen as QB and MLB could have a say? Just thinking if the engine gives a certain procent to make the first tackle and lowers that for the second tackle (since runner might be up in speed or something like that) and that Rasmussen is getting a stamina / consistency hit for doubling?

I am pleased with the win and am looking for the top 3 teams to make mistakes. I need help from others, but I feel confident that this season will be thrilling and that the Pro's won't be able to walk into promotion without having to look over their shoulder.

Next weekend will see a top 3 battle and if Pro's win that one, then many teams will be cheering for Vikings in the next round!
