Made the decision to sell up and reboot - not got much time to log on and not a fan of this (debatable) home field advantage making each week a little boring. Enjoyed the unpredictability of two closely matched teams and the gods of the dice rolls!

I'll keep some youngsters and try and stay active as I plummet down the divisions! Good luck to all in TD for the rest of the season

Sad to hear you have decided this. Hope you stay active and return when you have more time

Does anyone know if the BMI update is having much of an influence on player performances?

Think so.

If you look at your guy Topolenko, he came up with 4½-5* performances before the BMI-update. After the update his perfomance dropped to 4-4½* (awaymatches).

On the other hand, he might have suffered from both stam 20-problems and anorexia, but he still won the title last season.

Hope you can turn the boat around in D II.
Your remaining offence seems OK.
(AbCat would probably still winn most of his awaymatches with those players.)
So all you need is a few defs.
See you back soon - if I can stay up, that is.

Ya, I didn't notice the changes to the game about the BMI until a couple of days ago. I have a lot of fat offensive players and DB's and I also have anorexic Linemen so I am now trying to get my players to their ideal BMI now. I think this might explain my poor performance in the league so far.
Have you noticed any difference with your own team?

Can't say I have, but also I haven't looked that much.

I know a lot of managers wet their pants, when the BMI-update was introduced as part of the 'new engine'.

I am not a fan - consider it a downgrade of the game - so is the homeadvantage, btw.

Both features are quite boring - and not needed, in my oppinion.

I agree. Both updates are not really what the game needed. There are other things they could have spent their time on upgrading. I would like to see more pre game tactical options. Like the punting/field goal and 4th down tactic options could do with being upgraded to something more realistic.

Injured kicker and was unable to loan a backup last night. Ended up in a bidding war where I gave up after 100K. For some reason kickers with 13 skill are in high demand.

Finlay Hallam, one of our youth prospects has 2* kicking ability and 6 and 7 skill in kicking and punting, so he's going to give it a go. He'll be playing in the AFLC on Thursday as well.

Yeah, that kicker thing was unfortunate. I cocked up by firing my kicker as a cost-cutting measure thinking I’d pick up a replacement no problem, then in a mad panic spent 100K on a replacement. My FD won’t be impressed [cry].

QB injured for second time this season in the first 8 weeks. Got away with it the first time but won't today.
