Indeed.

It’s now or never for my boys - five of them decided this is their last season.

I keep telling myself my guys guys surely have got to be better than last year as they’re one year older. But then again, so is everyone else.

I’m feeling quietly confident though.

The last time I dared to feel quietly confident was season 14. I’d just arrived in III(8) and I genuinely thought I’d storm it.

I got relegated. Even now I can’t fathom how it went so wrong.

I’ve had a look at Scandinavian Nightmare’s probable lineup ahead of tomorrow’s game.
His team are rich with 19 skill (dual position) players. So his wage bill is only 400K more than mine but far better utilised.

I’m going to get thrashed. And my squad is so far off the standard I need to be at to compete with him that I’m utterly deflated.

Here’s hoping for the mother of all dice rolls tomorrow.

Initially I was happy to get out of III.8, but then I realised half of the team in II.3 had to fight their way out of III.8 too, and the other half is like your next opponent...this season is def. gonna be "challenging"

Ha. Indeed. I’m flabbergasted. He must be looking at our relative lineups and cursing the home advantage factor.

Good result there.

Did Edinburgh forget to set their tactics?

Either that or his guys hadn’t recovered from the exertion of beating me last week.
