One of the best performances of the season or of any season really from Holkeri in the Nightmare smashing of me

Wariors had too little too late but a good performance. Built off of great protection from the offensive line.

The Rams mathematically secure my retention with their beating of the Cowboys. I will be curious as to how they get on next season as Joe Blake has been pretty poor for them at QB (their good performances came with Sylvain Ly - now with Bigfoot). They also forced me to reformat my spreadsheet by playing so many different receivers throughout the season.

Last one. Will have to change the format to deal with running for next season.

Your defense definitely suffered a bit in the second half of the season.

Nightmare were worthy winners with Holkeri topping every QB stat (though only got the touchdown % by 0.01). For me he was the standout. Discounting pressures he had nearly a 4% higher completion rate than the second highest QB in the league (Sylvain Ly). Even with pressures it was still over 3% advantage which is ridiculous over the course of a season. Completions keep you in drives and keep you in the game. 42% of their drives without breaking tackles still went for TDs. Second highest was 36%. Just too hard to beat that offense. Their defense ended up with the best record in the league as well. They went missing once or twice but still managed enough in the league to end up conceding on less than <40% of drives. (Think about it, you could remove the possibility of them breaking 2 tackles and they still would be an above average team).

My pick for next year are the Pandas. Heise was easily the second best QB in the league. Those first few games without him cost them dearly. They ended with the best offensive line and the best defensive line. Granted it may depend on who comes down from the top division and Brixton Massive have already tipped the Gnomes to win this division next season.

Other teams who may harbour thoughts of winning are the Knights - solid all around. Lacking in the offensive and defensive line department for my liking - worst in the league in both categories. Aside from that the team is there but is that enough?

Theorists, botted against me today but it was a nothing game. No real weaknesses in the line up but the defense is a little behind the offense. It is a good defense but is it a league winning defense?

Rams- Brought many of the star receivers to the league and I felt unlucky to have such a bad start. Smothering defense and had a good qb. Those good receivers have also been sold and it looks like the remnants will have to fight to avoid relegation next season as they rebuild. Would have been my pick had they been able to retain their original line up.

Of course this is all speculation. Who knows what will happen with the new rules. How will our offenses suffer when our QBs start using FBs as outlets in the passing game? Is anyone ready for the running game? How many of those 47 BMI cornerbacks have managed to get into shape on time?

Missed that. Well that will be one more for relegation. Hope there is a rebuild but there looks to be a serious chance that they go bot.

That is good to hear.

I should also mention the teams getting relegated. Bigfoot are obviously in a rebuild but have their offense nearly back in line thanks in large part to the Rams selling players. They will be back to their rightful place in the top division once that defense is rebuilt.

The Cowboys and Wariors were close to each other all season and are similar in nature. Both showed that they were good sides with some good wins against strong sides during the season. However they were just a bit behind the standard the league set to do it consistently enough. Both will be battling for promotion again next season.

Overall it was not the most exciting season with top place and the bottom 3 relatively fixed for pretty much the full season but let's see what the next season brings!

Me and two other great teams (Jamers and Lilleywhites II) into this tough division that I once claimed as mine. Next season will be a rollercoaster. New engine / twerks and teams scrambling to get into shape. I dare not project anything!
