The relegation battle is over already... or is it?
I know my RBs will be getting a good workout. Picked up a 33yo former Kamikaze RB Jess Bruce in the offseason too. Should be fun running him into retirement.
Should be an interesting season. Can the Convicts repeat last year's effort? My money's on the Jinx, but going by wages it looks like will be a three-horse race between the Jinx, Wildcats and Convicts... although I've heard that the Behemoths fancy their chances, and let's not rule out the Pigs either.
And you never know, maybe the Wolflings and the returning Bananas can give us all a run for our money too. Depends on whether they run less vs human opponents.
Somehow I've managed to keep my wages around the $1.1m mark as well, even though I expected those to shoot up drastically.
It's now or never for my squad, as age is catching up to the skill guys. 14-4 was a personal best, but it wasn't good enough. Once they drop off then I will be cleaning house and bringing in the next generation.
Good luck everyone, and bring on round 1
