What has happened to the Steelers? I noticed their low scoring win vs Zuhl so I checked his roster. He has been cleaned out. Could be going for a clean start or a precursor to turning bot?

Tough to say, but now he will fight against relegation (if he keeps his roster as it is)

I think he is safe, if I am honest. Six wins should be enough to stay in the Division at this stage of the contest.

It has been coming. I still have a mathematical chance of overtaking him, but I need one more result to go my way.

Mathematical chance has turned into mathematical certainty following today's win. That is, assuming I can beat the now 'bot' Steelers in two weeks.

One day I'm going to have to start doing my team selection midweek. Another defeat due to no Defence :-/

OK. Season is over and congratulations go to Western Cowboys on promotion to Div 2.1. Good luck up there

Commiserations go to Spude. Came on stronger at the end and just missed out. See you next year, maybe.

So what does the upcoming year have in store for us? Well, there are three bot teams coming down from Div 2, so we have a 1 in 3 chance of receiving a bot. Any bot coming down should fall straight through the division, but otherwise who will be the three going down? My aim this year is to remain in the division again, hopefully getting safe a little earlier in the season! I have a couple of areas of concern that I will aim to address ASAP.

Let's take a look at who is coming up into the division:

SP Team - large team to choose from. Mostly middling on the BPOS rating, but fairly high wages so the players have some skills. I expect will start slow but will get stronger during the year as the BPOS goes up.

Cambuur - my old division buddy. Decent BPOS in places but low wages (low skills). Has a good QB, WR and TE combo. Defence could be a bit leaky.

Team Zero - Big team, again, but has some good players as his core team with good BPOS and skills, especially on offence. Defence may be a bit thin. Another team that should come on stronger as the season progresses.

Looking at the rest of us in the division I would have to put my money on Vlaanderen going up this year, with Real Astorga nipping at his heels ready to take advantage of any slip-up he may make.

Come tuesday, and the big reveal of new wages, and the announcement of the new season, all these predictions may change

Good Luck Everyone

Nice to see you think my team is at least half decent, lol

Think I was only promoted by default, took my chances in the important games

I'm tipping myself for immediate relegation & judging by 1st 3 games I'm right, lol
