Will try and put up some comments later. As ever the game with the bot formation was not included. I wonder if I should worry that I was still tied with a bot defense after one quarter.

When there is a bot defence on one side the engine compensates a little

I wouldn't worry

Apologies, bit late posting this round's update.

Round 5 saw both myself and TRS bow out in tough, one-score losses:

Terrassa Red Sharks 38 v 42 Fareham Demons (III.9)
Traujin's Pros 63 v 0 Reignac Dragons (V.48)
Pandapocalypse 42 v 49 Fionia Swans (II.1)
Tyresö Royal Crowns 63 v 42 Hempstead Otters
Argius (III.4) 22 v 28 Breizh Warriors
Dream Killers (IV.10) 17 v 24 PackerNation

Up next is Round 6, and we're looking at the very real possibility of having only 1 (or 2, if a certain team pull off another cup upset) III.5 side left in the competition:

Ottershaw Shankers (II.3) v Traujin's Pros
Palafolls Almogavers (II.1) v Tyresö Royal Crowns
Breizh Warriors v Blewbury & Upton Bombers (III.6)
PackerNation v Zaragoza Pro's (IV.20)

Another botted game from the Crowns (not that I'm complaining). Anyone know if Magneto's OK?

20-0 down to a side going to be relegated. :-( It is times like these that you have to accept you are not on the rng's good side this season.

Right. Complained about the rng's before but benefitted then. Packers got some incredible bad luck there at the end for me to win. 42-20 was probably fair but we got there in a weird way.

Today will mark the last game for the Handles in its current guise, and it will be against my dad

Stadium has finally bit me on the backside, could have sold players but I'm not sure even then if I would have survived

Been pleasure

Figured it was a good time for a recap as to how teams are doing overall.

Remember in the below I try and separate out of everything into its own section. So that the completion percentage won't take into account plays involving pressures etc. I feel like TD/pass play is my best overall statistic for descriping the effectiveness of an offense but feel free to disagree. It means I will go on about it a lot. I would like TD/drive but that seems hard to figure out but it seems like it would be descriptive so I will see if I can figure out a way for next season.
Remember as well that it requires two broken tackles to get a TD (unless you are close to the end zone).

Offensively in the TD/pass play target I still have the edge with a nice 13.66% of my plays going for Tds. This is unsurprisingly built largely on Hunter Staten with his dominating completion rate of 60.47%. The rest of my offensive stats are generally mediocre but are competitive enough not to cost me too much. 10.97% of my plays have been broken up before Staten chooses a target and my receivers are dodging tackles about 40.67% of the time. Both are slightly above average. I have thrown a few too many interceptions but that effects few enough plays to matter (though it has a large effect on TD to drive ratio which is something I don't record unfortunately as that could be very helpful).

The Bulls tend not to specialise in this side of the ball. They do have one of the best offensive lines at 9.55% of plays broken up but Baena and his receivers don't make the best use of it with 51.64% completion rate. Simply not enough to compete with other offenses and results in 11.04% of pass plays going for Tds.

The Warriors have struggle unsurprisingly only managing Tds on 4.59% of plays. This is from issues accross the offense especially with a 35.88% completion rate (remember this is even after the pressures were discounted).

The PackerNation has a top tier defense but no offense to match. Their issues stem from their receivers who only break tackles 25.73% of the time forcing them to march down the field slowly each time. And with 15.92% of plays broken up adn only a 40.27% completion rate after that it is unsurprising that they end up with a league low of 4.04% of pass plays in the end zone.

Pandas are second with 13.33% so not much between me and them. They don't have my completion rate with only 56.03% but Gallion gets plenty of chances to throw with only 9.03% of his plays broken up early which is a league best. Their receivers hold their own at dodging tackles at 40.04%.

Fork Handles are an interesting one. Obviously they have to be disapointed at 9.84% of plays going into the end zone as it isn't enough in the high scoring game. They can however be happy with 58.49% completion rate-3rd best in the league. So Lyubushin can hold his head up high. They do struggle to keep him safe with 16.54% of their plays broken up early and they are only dodging tackles 31.11% of the time. This means that too much pressure is put on Lyubushin to make a lot of completions to get a score.

The Terressa Red Sharks have the best receivers for dodging tackles in the game, breaking about 45.76% of tackles. This gives them a great ability to strike from anywhere on the field. This is something they need as they only have a 52.7% completion rate and 12.25% pressure ratio means that driving up the field slowly simply will not work for them. It seems to be why they are a bit of a streaky team. If they can' t break those tackles they are in trouble. Still they break those tackles most matches leaving them with a 12.85% TD ratio.

Tyreso Royal Crowns. Obviously I don't take into account their botted matches so they are just behind the Sharks with a 12.84% TD ratio. They have a similar tackle breaking percentage from the incredible Porto of 44.82% and the 2nd best completion ratio of 59.57%. The reason they aren't at the tip top of offenses is a very poor 15.32% of their plays are broken up.

The Hempsted Otters have the best offense of the 3 minnows with 6% TD/pass play ratio. They allow a league worst of 16.63% pressure on their QB but the compleiton rate of 46.26% isn't terrible even if the tackle doding percentage of 32.83% isn't great.

Lastly but not least are Viking Nantes. Well I don't know if they would be happy with 10.42% TD rate. I know they will be happy with 9.85% of their plays being pressured (and it was quite a bit lower before their match vs the Pandas). Their tackle dodging percentage of 40.82% is 3rd in the league even if it is quite a bit off of second. They struggle in getting the ball to the receivers though as 49.16% completion rate is too poor of a return.
