Looking at the DII relegates for season 21 we have a 5 in 9 chance of a bot joining the division in season 22, with the only potential human teams being: Legazpi Warriors (II.1), D... (II.3), The Chobham Treacle Miners (II.3) and Breizh Warriors (II.3).

We know the DIV teams joining us already are: Fork Handles (IV.13 and all too familiar for a few teams in the division already), PackerNation (IV.14) and Hempsted Otters (IV.15).

Casado Jnr looks obviously looks the strongest contender and should make for an interesting matchup, especially with his Dad's experience to call on. Should be able to replicate the Crowns' efforts this season.Last edited on 2016-12-02 at 7:49

Calling a winner here will be pretty tough. Depending on who we get from div II the relegation fight could be pretty easy to work out (bot from division II + the two promoting sides without managers related to Mr. C).

If we get a human team from division II then we have another fight on our hands to avoid that last drop spot.

I think TRS head in as favourites, IMO, regardless of who comes down.

They suffered some big upsets. If they are favourites it isn't by much I reckon.

So we get the Warriors here. They seem to be in a rebuild and as is a lack of offense seems like it would put them in the relegation fight.

So looks like the early favourites would be TRS (2nd last season), Pandas (strongest challenger two seasons running even if they did end up 3rd both seasons) and dare I say it myself (might be more hopeful but the squad has some strong results behind it).

The relegation dogfight will be interesting. Otters and Packers need a bit more work before competing in III.5. Right now I have the Warriors as favourites for that final relegation position. However I am sure a lot of the mid table teams will be nervous if the Warriors get a few good results behind them.

Breizh Warriors vs.PackerNation
Breizh seem the more complete side to me. Both sides need some work to match the top guns in the division. Any sort of challenge to retain in this division will need to start with winning this match.

Pandapocalypse vs.Spain Bulls
Pandapocalypse. Despite some sales last season they still have $1M+ wages and a very dangerous side. Granted I feel like I always pick Pandas in this match up and the Bulls are more than capable of holding their own weight. Especially if Baena gets up to standard as QB has been a problem position for them for a few seasons.

Fork Handles vs.Vikings Nantes
Handles. This is a big test for both sides and I will definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Nantes are nearly finished rebuilding and pulled off some great wins last season. I feel Handles are a little superior but honestly if a draw was a possibility in this game it would be where my bet would go.

Hempsted Otters vs.Terrassa Red Sharks
Sharks. Will be going for the title and against a side expected to relegate. Should only be one way traffic.

Traujin's Pros vs.Tyresö Royal Crowns
Pros. Partially because I can't say I want to win the league and bet against myself. Last time out neither side played their full squad but the Crowns won the match before that and boast a powerful offense and defensive line. I need to take advantage of a weaker secondary and offensive line to get the edge. I expect this to be a close one.

Rest assured that wage bill will be coming down before the next financial update!

For the first time since Season 19 Week 3 (over 1 full calendar year), Uwe Weissmann won't be the Pandas #1 QB. We will be transitioning to the recently signed Lyle Gallion (all the way from Memphis, TN, USA) in the interim whilst our QB of the future David Heise continues his excellent progress.
