Welcome to our new teams from IV and to our DII relegate, the mighty Terreasa Red Sharks, who must surely be considered one of, if not the, favourite for the title.

We're officially 100% human this season. Last edited on 2016-05-19 at 13:18

So, a very quick first impression of where I see people landing:

1) Terressa Red Sharks
2) Spain Bulls
3) Inverglen Knights
4) Johnstown Pioneers
5) Traujin's Pros
6) Pandapocalypse
7) Tyresö Royal Crowns
8) Vikings Nantes
9) Gladiator
10) Manchester Pigeon

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Pros and Crowns higher up based on their explosive offenses and solid overall teams. I see last season as an anomaly for my squad and expect to slip back down based on where other teams sit.

Weirdly annoying schedule for me mid-season, with back-to-back away games in weeks 6 & 7, home week 8, then another back-to-back away stretch weeks 9 & 10.

Need to get my finances in line sharpish!

So my rudimentary calculations, based on the extremely optimistic assumption I sell out all of my home games, leaves me in a $5m hole on the season. I'm assuming this will be closer to $6m given how I'm expecting this season to go, so I'm very much relying on a good run in the cup for some extra ticket income or there will be some big changes in the team this season!

Sharks are very solid. Weve had some good battles. This division has become quite competitive. Im expecting a good showing from the Crowns and Pandas again.

My wages are a bit behind. I can fight above my weight but not that far above it. A few positions will have to be looked at in the coming weeks. I have been trying to do well on slim wages simply as I feel it good practice but at a certain point cash will need to be invested. My players are at a point were wages should be going up quickly anyway.

Great work. Great analysis though as usual you are far too pessimistic about yourself. I will be curious as to how the 3 $1,000,000 teams get on over the season. Have to say it will be interesting to see the Crowns with a defense. When I played them they viewed conceeding touchdowns as the quickest way of getting the ball back to their offense!

Well looks like this season will get off to a rocky start anyway. I guess the Sharks promotion push may as well start with me.

I'm really looking forward to this season, this will be by far the hardest season for my boys this far, I just hope to stay out of relegation this season and as Christy pointed out I've sort of switched my goal from a "wtf is this defense thing people keep talking about?" view towards a more well rounded squad (even though I'm not really there yet) I hope for one or two upsets this season I have at least two teams that I need to beat this season in order to feel good about this so it's gonna be an awesome season
