Anyone play it? I would think that people who enjoy this would definetly like HC09. It has a few bugs but it is by far the best football game this year IMO.

Haven't played 09, but I've played the original version. I like it, it's different than anything else and gives you an appreciation for what coaches and GM's have to go through.

I have it... bought it with the Anniversary bundle of Madden 09... very disappointing. Well, Madden 09 is far more disappointing than Head Coach 09 was. Head Coach 09 is pretty much what you'd expect of it, but if you have 07 or 08 than you won't see much improvement or difference other than a couple graphical upgrades and of course the player base you're working with.

I really hate that they made the intentional switch to take the create-a-play and create-a-playbook out of the basic madden game and put it in head coach. Part of the fun I had with madden was taking a playbook full of plays I made and actually playing with it as opposed to setting the game to sim using my playbook. bleh

No PC release of this (madness, surely management type games play great on PC?!!) and no release of the game whatsoever in the UK even if I did have a console, means it's a no... but I'd like to!
