I think 3's the best option as long as its the darkest blue and dark red

I imagine the Yanks will go with the 'normal' blue and red and it will look awful as we are sweeping them off the pitch afterwards

EDIT: Urgh, there's only one shade or red? Looks pretty nasty haha, oh well.
