We should consider devising a yearly National Championship Game, based on the Power Rankings/Coach's Poll we have in place.

#1 vs. #2 -- Maybe set around the same time as college football's title game.

It might be even worth inquiring to the Admins. about making the National Championship (based on the Power Rankings/Coach's Poll) an official trophy, created specifically for NA. Granted, this might be a long-shot. But, still, having a yearly National Championship, might be cool.

Just an idea. I'd like to see these polls result in something.

Even better! It would be cool if the GI Admins. could accommodate with maybe having each bowl game be located at a neutral site, too. But, again, that might be long-shot -- what, in that doing, that they'd have to do the same type of thing for each country, I would suppose....

So, I don't know -- as cool as having a BCS-type of thing might end up being, it might end up being too much work to officially implement into the system.

Plus, you run the risk of a BCS-type system becoming redundant, with there already being a Regional Cup, which essentially fulfills the same purpose, more-or-less. But, still, it would be a cool thing to do.

I absolutely love the idea. We should do at least 8 "bowl" type games. It could be like real life with invites to the managers too. I'll pm merc since he's running the coaches poll. Perhaps he'll have insight as well.

Ya'll better be ready for some awesome games this week. Look for the updated rankings later in the day. Despite my best intentions not to, I did leave out some teams that probably have earned the right to be in the Top 25. Look for the next rankings to be much more thorough, hence the extra time needed to update. Don't forget to vote in Merc's Coaches Poll. Also look for details on the Bowl Games sometime this next week.
