Noticed we didn't have a league thread yet this year so here we go...

A very interesting week 1 - Hitchin sneaking one in OT, Nighthawks putting a marker down, Mammoth in full rebuild (must've missed that firesale)

Biggest win goes to Weasels taking down the defending champs. Every year that QB gets older the more dangerous they'll be... I think the Road Trains are the favourite this season though

Personally very happy to nick the win from Palafolls, fortunately catching McMahon with a low TC penalty. Rematch will likely be a different storyLast edited on 2017-02-13 at 17:08

Very happy with the OT win (very happy with any win at all to be fair). 14 points behind and looking at a loss, but for once a comeback win. Onwards and upwards (hopefully).

Very pleased with an opening win against the champions. My QB is still a good two seasons away from being top division quality, but his receivers are making up for that.

It does make you wonder if physicals are a bigger factor in QB performance than reckoned, or whether it's the wide receivers and tight ends whose performances are more valuable.

It's an interesting experiment that's for sure... I'm in the latter camp as I've certainly seen in friendlies by using starting QBs with young receivers they've often struggled.

Quite happy with my start. Need to tweak my roster and hope for a good cup run to stay out of the red for now.

This will be a tough season for me. I have to chage some players in key positions as I am spending way too much and the income just keep sliding away...

Transition year for me. Let´s see if you guys are kind enough to let me stay one more season. First game was close, loosing in OT.

Wow, shipped 63 points again. Looks like I'm playing bot defense each week when my D is actiually pretty good. No point wasting so much money like this.
