Im a huge movie fan. Just saw Iron Man 3 - top quality. 9/10. Anyone else been to the cinema lately and what did you think of the film you saw?

i enjoyed iron man 3 too i also thought evil dead was good and cant wait for F&F6

Okay, so recently watched films in order of enjoyment, all of them good so the ones at the bottom are still decent.. not necessarily new released either.

I don't go to the cinema much because I'm in an impatient bastard and get wound up by the standards of behaviour in the average multiplex.

So instead I use Netflix. But there seems to be crap-all on there. Anyone got any suggestions for good films on Netflix?

(Sorry if this constitutes an attempt at a thread de-rail).

EDIT: The Woman In Black - I strongly disliked it. In fact the only redeeming feature of the movie is that it's better than the stage production (don't ask).

Evil Dead was the worst storyline ever lol but cool effects. Another superb movie is Olympus has fallen about the Whitehouse getting taking over. Avengers is the best film of the last year

Anyone who hasn't seen the first Star Trek should, and don't be a prude and think oh I don't like Star Trek, you will.

I enjoyed Iron Man 3, thought the villain was better, Ben Kingsley was great

I was dismayed when i heard they were remaking Evil Dead. The original was all about low budget film making and Sam Raimi created a really effective evil presence through quite a simple camera technique. I thought the remake would be just be a bit of a cash in and from the reviews i've read thats pretty much what it is.

As people have mentioned a couple of horror films, has anyone seen Cabin in the Woods?

I watched it a few months ago and its one of the most original horror films i've seen in a while.

Yeah not sure the evil dead remake worked i liked the crap effects and cheesyness of the first. At the end of the credits bruce campbell pops up lol. Cabin in the woods was bizzare but worth a watch. Thor getting his ass kicked for once. Wathing star trek again tonight. Quite predictable but action packed and the special effects are awesome. Bodes well for star wars...
